My host GoDaddy has decided to discontinue Quick Blogcast on June 25 which is what I've been using for my blog. This means I have had to set up a new blog and will be losing this one. Yes, and losing my blog posts and subscribers.
In addition to trying to get my new Wordpress blog set up, I've been busy saving old blog posts that are linked to my website so I can repost. Yes, there's some way I can import them to the new blog; however, I could not figure out how to selectively import. I don't want them all, some were just quick contests, etc, so it was easier for someone tech-challenged like me to copy the ones I want and repost. Since the new blog has no subscribers, nor is it linked anywhere like Amazon or Goodreads, I shouldn't be inundating readers with posts they've already read. I just need new links to update my website.
But once I've done that, I am going to resubscribe my current subscribers (unless I can figure out how to use a plug in to re-add you if you're a subscriber, which is debatable.) I AM GIVING YOU A HEADS UP if you're a subscriber. If I can't figure out some way to import my subscribers, I'll resubscribe you and you'll get a new confirmation email. If you want to subscribe again, just click the link in the confirmation email. This should happen within the next two weeks, just depends on how fast I get those old blog posts reposted before I start working on the subscribers.
After I've resubscribed everyone, I'll have a COVER REVEAL post and CONTEST on my new blog for the next Vista Security Book EDGE OF TRUST. Hope you want to join in the fun!
If you don't want to resubscribe, just delete the email. But if you do (I hope! I hope!) be sure to click the confirmation link when you get it.
